10 things you should know about me

I don't think I've done a list like this on my blog before.  It might make you feel more welcome if you know a few things about me

1.  I have a cat named Cosmo and I love her very much.

2.  I am part of a family of six: (youngest to oldest) my brother, me, my sister Juniper (blog: juniperstable.blogspot.com), my oldest sister (http://revolutionaries.tumblr.com/), my mother, and my father.  I also love them very much.

3.  I'm obsessed with music of most any type.

4. I like to read books, but am not as quick a reader as my siblings.

5.  My best friend is Muppet (blog: mopheadedmuppet.blogspot.com)

6.  I like to doodle and am quit good at it.  Clothes and cats are my specialty:

7.  One of my favorite past times is blogging.

8.  I like coming up with ideas for books I'll never complete.

9.  I love writing songs in my mind.  I savor them while I'm thinking of them but then I forget them, thus the reason most of them don't make it on my blog

10.  I love God more than everything in the entire world!  And when someone says, "There's nothing He won't do for you," believe it.

I could go on like this for a long time.  I'm going to tell you the ten things I despise:

1. Certain book characters.

2. When our cat Sam knocks my butterfly collection off the bookshelf.

3. Last minute changes (for the worse).

4. Overcast days.

5. Sunburns.

6. All the things I can't eat with braces.

7.  Frowning faces.

8.  Repulsive TV Commercials

9.  Broken pencils and pens with dried up ink.

10. Dreary news.

I could also go on with this subject but this is enough for now.

Pluffy Posts Picture

I'm Pluffy and I Post Picture.  It's completely doodle-icious:

Clicky the Pic-y

I went to Drama Club for the first time since I was gone.  I missed everyone SO much.  But I was annoyed because Z-man wasn't there.  He's usually the Game Guy; that is, he does the game section of Drama Club.  I hope that if he ever quits (which would be really depressing) that maybe I could be Game Girl.

Drama Club went well today.  I'm making fine progress with the script and choreography I feel.  I still need practice, don't get me wrong, but I did well considering I've been away and clueless for a week and a half.  We got to use a different room today.  It was a much smaller room, but it was big enough.

I can't wait for next week!

Muppet Invasion--Throw the WII!

Yes I just butchered that statement.  If you don't know, the line goes like this: "Alien invasion--Throw the CHEESE!"  From one of the many ASDF movies on my blog.  I'm not going to tell you which one, though.  Because either you already know which one it's in or this is a great excuse for you to watch them (for your first time or fifty zillionth).  Also, it's a great way for me to say that I can't remember myself.  But I have my own reasons for not remembering.

After all of that (you probably don't want me to go on this way forever), Muppet came to my house to have some fun and get all--errm--most of our energy out for our next practice for Jerusalem's Most Wanted.

We mostly played on my family's Nintendo Wii and watched movies.  Oh, and talked of course.  And laughed, but if I'm putting that down in my blog, I might as well say we breathed oxygen and used our feet to walk, but that makes it sound like we did absolutely nothing together which would be a complete lie.

First, we watched Into the Woods together; only the first part though.  While we watched Muppet painted my nails (man I really need to post some pictures!).  They are Mario's hat and mushrooms.  Somehow my nails always seem longer when painted.  Maybe it's because I realize how much space there is on my nails to paint a mushroom, butterfly, or panda.  Oh, and when I post this, I'll have only six more posts to go until numero 100.  It seems like so many.  But when I compare that to all the emails passed back and forth between Muppet and I, it's very small for the amount of time passed.  I remember when I counted up our emails and I was excited about number 100, now I think I have something like 1000 emails in my file labeled Muppet...or more.  We had a conversation that went on for 300 emails or something.  I know you want me to shut up about that now but that's TONS more than any one person has sent me...maybe more than several people's added up.  Now I'll shut up.

About that subject.  After nails and movie, we played lots of Lego StarWars, bought 4-LOM, unlocked a bounty hunter mission thing, and swept up enough studs to almost purchase Lego Yoda Ghost.  She showed me what sorts of dance moves to look forward to learning on Thursday and I showed her my doodles of Twig (the main character of the Edge Chronicles) and sketches of dresses I only can imagine.  I donated a bottle to her collection: Ale81 (a brand of ginger-ale soda sold only in Kentucky).  It's pronounced: a-late-one.  I showed Muppet the ASDF movies on my blog, as indicated in my blog title.  Wii played more we.  Wait a second, did I really write that?  I meant we played Wii.  StarWars of course.  I showed her some of the videos I took on vacation that I would also readily show you, my sweet audience, but alas, Blogger doesn't really care to let me post movies.  Fortunately, when I put my pictures onto my computer, you'll see a few photos of deer.

Oh, lunch!  Muppet and I ate souffles for lunch yesterday.  Thanks to my sister.  Not my oldest sister.  She couldn't have possibly prepared food for us since she was visiting her friend the same day.  The funny thing is that both of our friends are short and I think they are almost the same height...But I think Muppet is an inch taller.

Well, I have things to do and read and say besides this blog.  So Adios kitty-os

ABC's (Anne burrell, Braces, Cosmo)

Hello little kitties!  Little kitties everywhere!!  In two weeks I get to say adios to my braces, so...  It was fun.  And I mean that in the sarcastic way because the technician put this yellow playdough like substance on a mouth shaped palate and made me bite down into it.  Afterwards, I had goop stuck all over my face that I was trying to scrub off with a paper towel.  You probably are curious as to what colors I chose for my retainer.  If they can do it, I'll have a purple retainer with pink hearts.  If not, I'll have pink spots.  I didn't want to have stripes because I knew if I did, I would probably choose black and white or red and white, and I didn't want white.  Or stripes.  My older sister has a translucent retainer that's light blue and purple...or was it pink...and my oldest sister has purple and orange checker board.

Later, I laid on the couch and watched much missed cable TV.  But it wasn't just HD channels I missed, it was watching Food Network and having a digital clock on the porch besides the one on my computer.  Sometimes it's a pain to shake the mouse, log on, and wait for the computer to load to know the time.  It's easier just to glance at the cable box.

I watched this new episode of Giada at home (Mozilla once again is annoying me; it thinks that Giada is not a word) in which she cooks for the prince and princess of England.  Or maybe prince/ss is capitalized.  Whatever.  Anyhow (now that I've stopped stalling), it was really funny watching her because she was so excited.  And then her friends made a cake of herself and I was cracking up watching her facial expressions.

Before that, I had watched Secrets of a Restaurant Chef (I think that's what it's called).  Anne Burrell is really funny on that show!  She just talks to her food.  It's hilarious more for me because it reminds me of the craziness I had in the kitchen with Muppet that one time we made brownies and came up with this one tune to the words, "Eating brownies with Jesus" (a phrase we didn't just invent invent but, indeed, perfected).  And then you can tell I start getting excited watching Food Network (well, TV in general) when I start interjecting things [like, "'Oh look!  I'm a shrimp!  Oh no! You're killing me!  Ahh!  I'm dead.' 'You were already dead, man!' 'Oh, I wouldn't know that, I'm missing my brain...Because somebody chopped it off' 'No offense, dude, but you never had a very big brain to begin with.'" (okay so I added to that some!  But I do start saying things like that.  Mostly the food just screams in agony when a top chef chops them up)]

Well, Cosmo just did the oddest thing.  She meowed at me twice and jumped onto the coffee table and flopped down on top of it.  Mostly it was odd because she, first of all, doesn't jump up that high usually; second of all,

(interrupts thought) I like this new song by this new artist called Holly Starr (why am I mentioning it?  Because the song is playing now so I can write the correct lyrics). The refrain goes like this:

You can have money

and cool friends

a ring on your left hand

but it's never gonna be enough

without love, without love

you can have a fast car

a mansion

and everyone's attention

but it's never gonna be enough

without love.

SUCH A CUTE SONG!!!  I'm good now.

second of all (starting again) Cosmo started meowing when this song started playing.  Kind of creepy.  Well, the song above, I only heard once (twice now) on the radio on the way home from my grandparent's house.  I loved it so much I made myself remember the artist and the time the song played so I could go home and see if she was on Jesus Freak Hideout.  To my dismay, she was not.  Probably too new.  Like Dara MacClean was (I think I spelled her name wrong).  But I don't like looking songs up on YouTube because I'm afraid maybe something else will pop up unexpectedly and scar my tender mind.

I think this blog post has gone on long enough...  Ah, the radio station is playing Francesca Battistelli!

Where ever I go that's where the rain's at

It's raining.  AGAIN.  For the one hundred fifty thousandth time.  Tomorrow I get impressions done for my retainer.  But I don't get my braces off yet.  But I get them off in time for the performance of Jerusalem's Most Wanted.

Then, two weeks and a day later, I'll be doing more acting...This time with Muppet.  It's going to be fun!  I hope.  But in some weird way I actually know someone who knows the person whose doing it.

I have a game of Monopoly Deal to play so, ADIOS FOLKS!!

Things I apparently didn't know

1.  In Peter and the Starcatchers, one of the characters is named Mrs. Bumbrake (the person reading the audio book pronounced it like Bum-ber-rig)

2.  If you hold a bomb-om behind you on Mario Kart Wii and someone runs into you while you're playing Team Race, it doesn't blow you up in the process; unlike Mario Kart DS.

3.  I have to play another role in the musical my drama club is doing.  Now I'm a guard and Mary Magdalene.

4.  Peaches are just as good the next day.

HELLO again

I came back to you all like I promised.  Hey. I'm not sure I promised that or not.  But I promised Cosmo that I would be back because I always do when I leave her.  I love my cat so much.  I missed her a lot.  She seemed very shy when we first came home but this morning she was in my computer chair and I transported her to my bed and rubbed her belly until she started purring.  I wonder if she remembers me or if she forgot over such a long period of time...

Well, apparently Muppet missed me.  She's been emailing me even though I told her I wouldn't answer my email until I got back.  And she says that she was squealing with joy when she got my first email to her since I left.  But she's started taking Drivers Ed apparently.  And also, apparently she's doing choreography for our musical.  I wish I could be someone important like her.  I wish I could help with singing and choreography.  I wish I could help with drama club like that.  After the musical is over there's not going to be any more Drama Club until after fall or something.  IDK.

I shouldn't be such a downer.  I just got back from VACATION for goodness sakes.  I went to Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.  We lived in this one little cabin for the week and a half we were there.  There was Foosball, air hockey, and pool.  There was a hot tub outside on a porch-like thing.  It had one DVD Player (it promised two) that was missing a remote so you could only play, pause and stop movies.  there was a hole in the bathroom wall and ants kept crawling in the bathroom on the top floor.  On the other hand, the beds were very comfortable to sleep on and I got a bedroom to myself.  I know it sounds crazy but I haven't slept by myself in a room really.  When I was a baby, I slept in a crib by myself until my brother came along but after that, I slept with my brother in a room until I was too old to be doing that and I slept with one of my sister's ever since then.  Mostly my older, not my oldest sister.  So it was strange but not really since there was only a bathroom separating my room from their room.

ANYways...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I finished the Edge Chronicles and also listening to Peter and the Starcatchers!  And now my sister brought back the second Edge Chronicles book.  So I better get reading!  Plus Muppet sent me the ninth chapter of her novel and I still haven't read chapter eight...so, HAPPY READING!

Apparently, there's the same map picture and the same introduction in the second Edge Chronicles book, so I can just get onto reading chapter one.  YAY!

Good bye my fellow fans!

I'm going on vacation now, but I'll be back the 21!  Have a great summer all you kittens!  Miss ya!  I'll post about it all when I get back.

OMG THE HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So.  Guess what.  The air conditioner isn't working.  And it's HOT.  So much heat.  All the fans are on, the windows opened, the lights off and it is still wicked hot.  And I don't mind it being hot.  I just don't like constantly feeling sticky from sweat and humidity.  I want to be a refrigerator.  Or in one.

We're trying to do laundry now for our trip.  My brother is reading my blog over my shoulder now.  I was reading Edge Chronicles earlier and my brother kept coming my room and asking me something but I don't know what it was exactly since I was paying much more attention to the book I was reading.  He probably wanted me to play with him.  I wish he wouldn't ask me to play with him all the time.  Most of the time the answer is no because I'm trying to read a book or write or something.  He always seems to do ask when I have an idea for writing or when I'm reading a really good part of a book and then I'm sucked out of my mind and back into reality.  And I forget what I was trying to write or draw.

Well.  I wanted to talk more but I'm getting really hot sitting in this computer chair.  It's leather or something.  It's not comfortable to sit in right now.

Mario's Miraculous Adventures Continued

Yoshi landed on something large and squishy.  He flinched at the possibility of what it could be but calmed down when he realized it was a large mushroom tree.

But then he was startled again to find that it was crawling with small mushroom like creatures; Goombas...

Mario stepped off his trusty dinosaur and onto the goomba's head.  It deflated with a loud pliffffff.

"Hooray!!" Mario shouted, punching the air.

But suddenly a giant pipe appeared out of the ground.

It began to spit out other small mushroomy minions.  The all were uniquely different from each other.

They marched forwards towards a very frightened Mario.  He began to smush them one by one but there were too many of them.  They heaved him onto their shoulders and hauled him off to a threatening castle.

Well... It wasn't threatening from the outside.  The inside is what really bothered Mario.

And far below lava bubbled eager to consume any clumsy soul in flames.

The Goombas disappeared into a pipe leaving Mario in the castle alone without even Yoshi as a companion.  He tried the large iron door, but it didn't budge.  He had no choice but to try and defeat the obstacles himself.  (to be continued)

Mario Chronicles

Once upon a time, some one hit the play button on a Mario game and Mario spawned in a random world

Mario spotted a golden glowing question mark box.

Curious to see what might happen, he walked near the box and jumped, causing him to get a headache from hitting his head on the block.

A strange looking Super Pizza popped out of the block.

Mario, taking advantage of the new delicacy, picked it up to take a bite out of it.  Suddenly, a whole fleet of his friends and foes appeared to devour the new and improved treat.

(Click to enlarge) "Ahhh!" screamed Mario as he leaped onto his trusty steed, Yoshi, ditching the pizza party.

(to be continued)

Okay, so, I'm just saying, I'm going on vacation on Saturday so, don't expect any new blog posts for a long time.  Like, two weeks.  I'm a little sad that I'm not going to be able to go to Drama Club next week.  Or the week after.  And if any Drama peoples read this, I'm going to miss you all SO much.  But it's only two weeks.  Before you know it, I'll be back!  I don't want to see any frowns tomorrow when I go to Drama Club.  Or at any time.  At all.  Period.  You have no reason to miss my blogging.  I have tons of posts that you may or may not have read.  If you really are looking for blogs to read, read Muppet's blog.  Check out all the blogs I follow!  They are all exceptionally good.  If you like food, my sister Juniper has a blog.  If you like art, go to the Cottage Tree House.  Just click on my profile.  Obviously.

Just warning you that the posts won't be coming on for a while.  Like, I'm not even going to be in the state I live in.  I'm going way, way, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up north.  But not Canada.  Or maybe...I'm going to be close enough to lick Canada.  But I'm not.  Because then my tongue will get stuck like in A Christmas Story...not that it's going to be that cold...I mean, it's Summer for goodness sake!  It's probably a beach at the North Pole right now.  I wonder what the weather is in Australia?  Probably cold.  I want to go to Australia.  One day...someday...

I'm So Sorry

So, I felt like I needed to apologize for how I've recently been treating the work of the author that wrote Twilight.  I mean, how would I feel if she read one of my random stories and said that the whole plot stunk and the character had personalities as dry as dust.  But the problem is I've become prejudiced against that book from peer pressure.  I've talked to lots of people who think that it's an awful book so I just came to believe it must be bad from other people's judgements and not my own.  I need to actually read the book to see if I like it.  And who knows?  Maybe it will be my new favorite book?  I won't know until I read it.  And, no, I was not judging the book by its cover.  I was judging the book by what others thought of it.  I should be more careful about what I say to people on my blog.  I've probably offended all of the other people and that's why I have only eight followers...

Welcome peoples!!!!

I felt like I should blog.  So I did.  But obviously this is not what you want to be reading.  So I should start blogging stuff that you want to read.

Nothing new is going on right now.  My sister is watching SAT prep stuff, my sister from college is on her computer, I'm on my computer, my brother is doing school, my cat is sleeping.  Nothing new.

I could lie and say that my sister is watching Perry the Platypus beat up an alien that fell out of the ground, my sister from college is learning how to fly her computer off the roof, I'm about to make a huge breakthrough on the story I'm writing, my brother is throwing legos at the ceiling to see if they'll stick, my cat is throwing ninja shaped pancakes at Sammy who is trying to eat Sunny with only his bare hands and Sunny is trying to walk on the walls for a science experiment, but none of that would be true.

Reality: boring

Imagination: interesting

I'm going to go finish my BORING school so that I can read and INTERESTING book.  I wonder what life would be like if imagination was boring and reality was interesting...  Nah, I'm happy having scary interesting thoughts.

I want to read Wicked eventually.  Then I'll go and see the actual play on Broadway.  Notice that this is INTERESTING.  Obviously it's just a dream.  I could watch it on YouTube but it wouldn't be the same...
