Party and Party and Hey!

Hello young/middle aged/elderly kitties!  It's time to finish the tale of what happened at the awesome surprise party of DOOM (just kidding about the whole DOOM thing).

Dinner was exciting because that's when Muppet's friend laid out the rule.  Yes, only one rule: that we would all act like four year olds at Muppet's birthday party.  If you haven't read very much of this blog or this is the first post you've seen, please read the next paragraph as I explain why:

Muppet was born on a leap year and her birthday is February 29th.  So she's only actually had four birthdays.  And since this is her birthday year, she gets to celebrate all year long (well, would you want to wait four years for your birthday???) lol.  Which is why we are celebrating late (not exactly).

Continuing with the party:  blue food, right?  Okay so then I pull off one awesome feat and one fail at dinner: Feat: I ate the melted chocolate and peanuts that were on a tissue that Muppet's friends were trying to pass off as something disgusting and won a package of Snickers :D (although, when I left, I forgot them :'( ) Fail: I fell for the fake science trick: someone puts butter on a plate and then says something like, "I learned a new science trick" and puts salt on the butter and says, "feel, it's warm!" and then when you put your hand over it the other person smacks your hand down.  Then I had fun smudging it all over Muppet.  If you read on, butter isn't the only thing poor, dear Muppet has smudged on her.

After dinner we went outside and drew with sidewalk chalk on Muppet's friend's house.  And don't go thinking we were surprising her like people do when they swab people's yards with toilet paper.  WE HAD PERMISSION TO DO SO.  Don't try it at home kids...do it at your friend's house like we did lol.

Then we went and colored the cat with sidewalk chalk...well, they did.  I mostly held the cat (and colored Muppet's arm pink with sidewalk chalk lol.  She did it back though, so we were even for the time being)  He's all white so you can actually see the colors on him.  He also has blue eyes.  I love cats with blue eyes...but that's getting off topic.

Next we played this version of hide-and-go-seek except it's in the dark and your only source of light is a flashlight...except we had awesome glow-sticks instead.  I got to be the seeker first.  I didn't find everyone...I couldn't find one of H's sisters :P.  She hid in a pile of stuffed animals.  Ah, but I found Muppet.  Although I can't believe I didn't see her when I first went in the one room because she was only hiding in the closet.

Play continued, H hid behind the couch as did her older sister in an earlier round, some of H's younger siblings hid in the top part of a closet in and empty room, J hid under a bed with a cat, I mistook a pillow for a person until I poked it, H hid in a chest in an earlier round, and one of Muppet's friends hid underneath a bed mattress lol ;).  So much fun.

Then we had cake and ice cream...or maybe that was before hide-and-go-seek...  Anyways, the cake was a big blue paw-print with four little cupcake toes.  It was a good cake, I have to say, and the ice cream was even better.  It took me a while to realize the cones weren't blue plastic and were actually edible.

THAT was fun.  I kept teasing Muppet with my ice cream cone, singing into it like a microphone (I had my MP3 player out at this time: Francesca Battistelli), trying to steal bites of her cake, and smudging ice cream on her arm (she got me back here, too).

After H's younger siblings left and it was just us older girls, we danced to random party music like the cupid shuffle.  After that we started to play spoons (a card game that includes the usage of spoons in the center of the table and in which your goal is to get a spoon before the other players)...SO much fun.  Except my energy was getting out of hand at this point but my energy and how fast I get tired after that is another long rabbit trail that I'll go on another day.

After I went out playing spoons I kept tricking people by taking spoons from the center when I wasn't actually playing.  Then I started going through the cards as though I were playing even though I wasn't.  But, once, when I was playing I lost all the cards in my hands because I was goofing off and passing them all off and looking at cards.

After a time my energy dropped greatly and I was, as J says, a pumpkin...or more like just squash.  And so, Daddy picked me and J up to go home for some sleep.  Here ends the party...until Muppet turns twenty (or five) :)

Kim Seriously!

Okay, so my friend Muppet has started to post some awesome Kim Possible things on her blog.  If you <3 Kim Possible go here:

http://mopheadedmuppet.blogspot.com/2012/09/seriously.html

Have an awesome day!  ^.,.^ <Meow)

SURPRISE! :P

Yep.  H, her sisters (there were four), and a couple of Muppet's other friends threw a surprise party for Muppet.  SO epic.  The theme: Blues Clues.  DON'T JUDGE.  If you do, I'll send my cat to your house to sit on your feet for several hours until your feet fall into such a deep sleep, you'll wish you hadn't said anything lol JK.

J and I were invited to the party because the others knew that Muppet knew us and that I'm her friend.  WHY would I turn down a surprise party?  I haven't so far.  Especially one for my bestest friend in the entire world.

So we went shopping for a gift for Muppet at Walmart and found some of Sally Hansen's magnetic nail polish and I was thinking, "this has Muppet written all over it" So we got it.  Because it looked awesome.  I don't know what Chalkboard Nails would have to say about it's quality, but I know that blog uses Sally Hansen a lot.  But not as much as China Glaze lol.

We go to the party which takes place at one of Muppet's friend's house and help set up.  I brought my MP3 player to listen to later and my camera to take pictures...not that I'm good at taking pictures without them becoming blurry.  But some of H's younger siblings took pictures...not that I've looked at them...and I'm sure Muppet's friend will be posting some on Facebook that she took with her phone.  But enough about pictures!

H and her older sister (but not her oldest sister) make macaroni and cheese but dye the pasta blue.  But by the time they added the cheese; when they had dumped the processed cheese into they blue noodles they turned this frightening green color.  There was also a pot of blue Alfredo which, in my opinion, looked slightly more appetizing.  Not to say that it wasn't green, but it looked slightly more blue.  It matched my green fork perfectly, though!  There was also plain, uncolored hot dogs, garlic toast, and blue applesauce.

We then came up with game ideas since there were no activities planned.  Some of my faves were spoons and telephone pictionary.  Not that we actually played telephone pictionary.  But still!  I think it's an awesome game.

So, then Muppet finally arrived and we all hid.  I allowed H and her sisters to pop out first because, as I figured, they probably would be more expected to be there than me and J.  But when I popped out, Muppet was so excited!  Then she started tearing up when she saw all of the Blues Clues stuff everywhere.  It was AWESOME.

Okay so I'm going to split this post in half because there's a lot to say about the surprise party and I have to go to a Mary Kay thing this morning (not that I'm big on makeup) and then I'm going to this awesome bistro for tea (not that I'm big on tea).  It's a complete girls day (well, sorta) for me.  My mother, J, and I will be popping in and out of our house a lot today and I'm not sure when we'll be leaving.

Have a wonderful Saturday, kittens!

What's Going On Tomorrow?

Tomorrow, tomorrow
I love ya tomorrow
You're always a day away!

So.  Tomorrow is a teacher's meeting.  Which means all of the other homeschooling moms in my homeschool group are getting together and talking about school and other uninteresting things that we kids don't really care to hear about (but are none the less important).  This is usually the day that I don't get too much school done but I'm going to try to accomplish as much as I can so that I can enjoy my free time to talk to Muppet at the park.  Of course, since the meeting is in the morning, I can't get my stuff done and ahead before going.  Unless I decided to ditch getting any sleep.  And then I would NOT enjoy anything.  What's the point of getting stuff done and having all the time in the day when all you want to do is sleep?

So basically, I have to get all my school done in the afternoon after the teacher's meeting.  Before Zumba at Gold's Gym in the evening.  Which only sucks an hour out of my day, but still.  I'm not complaining here, though.  Just stating facts and telling you what's up (the trees and the sky and the birds...I know).

Yesterday, Como wasn't feeling well at all.  So we took the poor kitty to the vet (which is only, like, two blocks from our house).  She's feeling better today (I think, you can't ever tell with cats; they mask pain so well).  She's very groggy, but I would be too if I wasn't feeling well.

Nothing else interesting has been happening besides school...EXCEPT for Drama Club.  I'm going to be quitting the homeschool drama club that I was doing with my homeschool group because my school is dragging with two days being shot...not to mention the extra days blown because of an upcoming play or field trip.  BUT I am still going to be doing the Drama Club at the community theater.

I'm going to miss people at the other teacher's meeting, but if I'm going to teacher's meetings, I'll probably see them there.  Plus who says I can't help with drama club behind the scenes?  I could still suggest new games to Game Guy to play with the other kids.  Also, I might come back if there's a production next year...But that's a big MIGHT because I might decide to audition for something at the community theater during the time that the homeschool drama club is doing a production.  I don't even know what's happening next year for me.  But who's expected to know things a year ahead, anyways?

La de da de doo!

Nothing much has been happening that's been blog worthy lately.  My nails are still sulking because, even though Muppet is back home where she belongs, we haven't had time to paint my nails.  Which is annoying because my mind thinks of new ideas faster than we can paint my nails.  But Muppet did paint her own nails!  They are so adorable.  I wish my nails could be painted.  *sigh*

Anyways.  Today was Drama Club!  Again!  Nothing too exciting happened.  There are lots of new people, as usual.  And, as usual, I played about a thousand games with them all and I still don't know all their names.  We played lots of this game called Poison.  Which is quite simple but equally fun.

First, to choose who the "poisoner" will be you have everyone stand in a circle and one person who is not playing taps the person of their choice on the head while everyone's eyes are closed.  Then the game begins!  Everyone walks around shaking each other's hands, including the poisoner.  But when the poisoner shakes you hand, they press their pointer finger into your wrist to "poison" you.  Next, you walk around a little while longer and shake people's hands, then you start to act sick.  After a few more seconds, you must die dramatically (not really, you're just acting).  Eventually when one of the living persons who have not yet been poisoned thinks they know who the poisoner is, they accuse the person that they think is it.  If they are wrong, they must also die dramatically.  If they are correct, they win and play may restart.

It's quite fun, but it gets tiresome after about the fifth time.  We also played games such as Freeze and Wax museum (which, if I haven't explained, I will eventually).  Then we went onto doing our scripts.  Next time we're expected to have our lines memorized.  Which won't be too hard for me, I guess.  I just have to find time when J is here to help me with my lines.  Which will probably be this weekend.  I also decided to ditch my southern accent since I doubt it sounds good at all to anyone.  That's my weak point in acting: accents.  I just can't seem to do them.  I can pitch my voice differently for characters and even make my voice sound shaky or stutter, but I can NOT do any accents with my voice.  I can sort of try to do a southern or British accent, but nothing else.

Well, enough of my ramblings! lol :)

Hey look!  Cosmo's winking at you:

Toe nails!

This post is just me showing you my toes since I've run out of finger nails to show you.  I hope you don't have a fear of feet lol :P

 Blue!
Peach
 fuzzy (as in blurry) peach!
  black on white
 red on white
 Altogether now!
Wait, when did I ever have four feet?  Just kidding.  Those are Muppet's feet on the left and my feet on the right.  My left foot is rainbow with a black french manicure thing at the top of my nail and my right foot is crosshatching lines on top of a rainbow of polishes.
Oh no!  Now I have three feet (lol)!
Muppet's feet!

That's enough feet for one day. Enjoy the rest of your day! :)

Return Of J.J. Heller! And More

I was on YouTube today and I looked up the J.J. Heller song that I was meaning to find before.  I LOVE IT SO MUCH!  I love Christian music.  Here's my favorite J.J. Heller song:

It's so sweet.  I remember hearing this one a while ago and loving it and then I heard it on the radio a second time and went to see what song it was on the Joy FM What Song Was That? thing.  After that I looked on jesusfreakhideout.com to see if it had the lyrics.  Well, of course JFH did not deliver like I was hoping for (they never show the songs I'm looking for) so I blogged about it and was thinking of going on YouTube to find it so that I could post it.  But I couldn't remember the song title by then so I left it for a while.  But today I found it and now I've posted it and (hopefully) you listened to it.

But while I was looking for J.J. Heller stuff to post for you, I found this music video that's simply adorable:

But what really started it was that when I was looking on YouTube, I found the official music video for This is the Stuff by Francesca Battistelli!

But what really started my going onto YouTube to begin with was that I wanted to post music on blog and I had fun finding the cool song that I had found before by Plumb.  Well, that's all this post is about.  I guess.  But I have one last thing to say,

And this because I heard this one once and I was craving to listen again because I just had one little part spinning around in my head for forever-ever-ever lol.  I don't know what it is about Taylor Swift but I always love everything she does.  I had Wiki-ed her before to see if she had any new stuff coming out soon and the reviews for the lead song weren't very high so I was wondering if I would like it or not...Then my J and mother listened to it and encouraged me to watch it on YouTube, so I did.  And I'm not kidding, it's so catchy I had it stuck in my head randomly during the whole two weeks that Muppet was gone.  I love this song, but that's my opinion.  I just love music videos that can make you smile or laugh a little.

One more little thing about Taylor Swift: I still wish she would stop straightening her hair.  She looks so much better with curls.  Not that she looks bad.  She just looks better with curls.  I think everyone who's a natural curly head looks better with their curls.

Mario Nails

And now, my final nails until I can empty my camera (unless I start showing you my toes).

There are several things here.  My pinkie, middle, and pointer finger all are a simple freehand-drawn, red, french manicure type thing.  After drawing the simple red line on my nails, Muppet drew a thin white line underneath using her thin polish brush.

My thumb is a coat of red nail polish with a circle of white and the M drawn in the middle of the circle with the thin nail brush.  The mushroom was a little more difficult than the other nails.  It was also painted red (like my thumb) but then was layered on top with a white circle (drawn freehand).  Then, of course, we added spots.  This was accomplished using a bobby pin.  Its eyes were done with a thin nail brush.

STORY TIME!

Can you see how long my nails are in this picture?  This is completely normal for me to have long nails and I'm used to having them even longer than this.  But unfortunately my thumb nail snapped when I accidentally banged it against our dining room table.  This would explain the long absence of nail pictures (along with all my acting and vacation).  But, as with most injuries, it healed up and is now ready and waiting for Muppet to paint it again.

If you haven't heard, I painted my own nails!  I don't do that often, but with Muppet being gone in CA, all the nail blogs I've been reading, and the excessive amount of free time I have to spend (funny how I'm busier in the summer than during the school year), I had to do it.  My nails were feeling very naked without a coat of polish covering them.  Now they're happy again!  Except I think that's a lie because it literally looks like their crying lol.

"Why couldn't it have been follow the trail of butterflies?"

Well, it's time to show off my butterfly nails.  I'm not going to do a tutorial thing for these ones because just watching Muppet paint my nails confused me.  Also because I'm sure there are better tutorials on Pintrest.

In the picture you can see that I scratched my pointer finger.  That was from me opening a can of cream soda but the tab scratched me.  But my finger is all better now.  I mean it would've had to have been considering it's been months since then.

That was also the day we made chicken fajita pizza...or at least tried to.  Because the dough turned into slime and the salsa jar wouldn't open for either of us lol!

If you're feeling ambidextrous, you can try these nails out for yourself using my picture examples above, but I highly suggest a more professional tutorial for this one. :)  Happy painting!

It's Panda Time!

I don't even care if this is in any order anymore.  I'm just feeling happy (unlike how it looks outside) and want something cheerier.

Adorable, right?  This one was actually a surprise that Muppet fixed up for me one day.  She painted my nails while we watched Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat.  Which was a lot weirder than I remembered.  And the guy who played Joseph played a samurai in Mulan.  Which I hadn't known before.

The second picture is showing off my thumb.  If you notice, the eye closest the camera has a flower like shape.  Not the white of the eye, the black around it.  I thought that was just so cute, but it was completely accidental so, don't ask me how Muppet did it.  lol.

She started with the white circles on the tips of my nails with the nail brush.  Like this:

Then wait for it to dry some.  I was confused as to what this was when she started painting white circles on my nails.  It took me forever to guess what it was supposed to be. lol.  Now add the ears.  I think Muppet used the round end of a pencil, but not one with an eraser.  Because then you couldn't erase with it and what use would that be? :)

At this point I was really confused.  I think I guessed it was Mickey Mouse or something because the ears kept looking so large.  And then I thought they were eyes to some weird alien.  Or maybe abstract art.  Next add the black eye spots with the use of your handy dandy bobby pin.

Also with the use of your bobby pin (but hopefully you'll cleaned it off first), use white nail polish and dot the eyes.

Don't forget the nose (also with bobby pin)! you can do the nose at the same time you're doing the eye spots to save time if you'd like.

Viola!  Oh, and if you like shiny, long lasting nails, do a top coat.  I prefer my nails to last long so that they will look cute until Muppet paints them again.  What do you think of my awesome panda nails?

Well, that concludes yet another nail post!

Nails of the day

My next nails are also quite simple:

My friend did these nails up because this was the day (or should I say night) that I watched Mulan with her.  Mostly because that's one of those Disney classics that I haven't seen since...I don't know when and I wanted to see it again.  Also, that's one of Muppet's favorite movies, so all the more reason to watch it.

As I have said before, I don't remember the colors and brands of nail polishes that we used, but it doesn't matter very much.  You just need to know that I used a slightly shimmery red and black and white nail polishes.  She painted them red, then painted the black on the nail tip like a free hand french manicure thing.  Like this:

If you make it larger, you can see it better.  After they dried, Muppet added a white stripe along the bottom edge of the black nail polish, as seen in the first picture.

Well that concludes my nails of the day I guess.

In the future, I'll try and record better nail polish information.  If you're curious to what tools she uses for my nails the answer is a bobby pin, a thin nail polish brush that she saved from an old nail polish that went tacky, and a small piece of packaging cardboard for a artist pallet.

And also, for your information, I only own three colors of nail polish.  All of the nail polish you've seen on this blog is all her's.  What do you think of the nail art so far?  Don't worry if this isn't interesting to you.  The first stuff is less detailed than the later things.  You also have to understand that this was the third time she painted my nails.

Don't worry, you didn't miss out on her second time painting my nails.  That was the day of our Cast Party last year after my homeschool group put on the first performance that I was in.  The party took place at Muppet's house.  After I got tired of mosquitoes, Muppet and I went to play our own personal game of Apples to Apples.  Except it turned into the exact opposite because our friends came in and asked if they could join in and we couldn't say no and...you know how it goes.  So soon enough, there were over ten people playing and the game was getting too noisy so we sneaked out of the game and into her room and painted my nails black to match her nails which had been painted black for her costume as a fire bug.  Here's a picture of my black fingernails.

I had to use flash to get this picture because there was too much shade and I wanted to show them next to my toenails, which you have already seen (hopefully) in the last post.  This is a very hard shot to take with a camera.  I had my camera sitting between my knees while I pressed the picture button with my chin...or was it m nose?  But now I can say, "Look mom!  No hands!"

Also, you may have notice the scar on my right foot.  That's from when I was five (or something like that).  I was jumping on the rocking loveseat which, as you may or may not know, have mechanical parts in them.  Just saying, they hurt.  I never got stitches, just one of those butterfly bandages.  You can barely see it now, but it's still there.

I'm a kind blogger because I didn't share any graphic details with you lol.  It wasn't that graphic though...Well, I couldn't remember much anyways because I was crying my eyes out.  lol.  It's funny how you can look back on things and laugh at them even when they were terrible when it happened.

So after redoing my blog again...

Wow that took some time.  I've been reading a lot of nail blogs lately.  As you can see, I added two nail blogs to the side over --> there. where it says that you MUST READ BLOGS.  But if you don't really want to read them, I'm not going to send Cosmo after you to chew on your toes for you.  Mostly because postage costs so much these days (Just kidding).  I was thinking about bringing back some of the old pictures of my nails and tell you how to do them since a picture isn't always helpful.  And, no, I am not going to tell you the exact colors and brands of nail polish we used, mostly because I don't remember what we used on them, but I thought it would be nice to tell you how they're all done.

Let's see what we've got:

These are simple (for an advanced nail polisher).  Just to tell you up front that all the credit for my nail polish goes to Muppet.  The only credit I get is for photography (credit for having pretty nails goes to the One who made me).

My fingernails here are just different nail colors.  This was Muppet's first time painting my nails, back in October of last year.  I couldn't decide on a nail polish so we did a rainbow of colors.  You may or may not be able to see all the colors so I'll tell you the fingernail colors from right to left: silver, black, purple, blue, light blue (it smelled like fruit punch), two different greens layered on top of each other, yellow (smelled like bananas), orange, red orange, and red.  You probably fell asleep reading all of that so to wake you up:

BLUE!!!!!

Now tell me, what color is that up there?  Is it yellow, red, or blue?  Just wondering what color you think it is.  If you want my opinion, it's all of the above.  A primary parade.

Anyways.  picture two is my toes done the same year in the same month on the same day. My right toes are black and white, horizontal stripes.  My left toes are black and white vertical.  If you click on the picture, it should enlarge it.  But you can tell that I went off to do some mindless activity before my toes dried completely because you can see where my nail polish is tarnished on my big toe on the right.  It happens when you have your nails painted at your friend's house, you have fun and forget about your worries :)

Alas, she's off in California and is busy attending a wedding.  And I'm here with my computer and my blog (and my cat).  I went to California once.  A long time ago when I was on a cruise.  We had two long flights to California where our cruise boat was awaiting us to sail to Alaska.  Where we didn't see any bears...except for the big fake or stuffed ones in random stores or museums (lol).  It was cloudy when we went to California, though.  I think it may have even rained at one point.  But we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge and sailed under it.  That part was really spectacular, sailing underneath the bridge I mean, because the smoke stacks (is that what you call them?) folded so we could go underneath.  It was a ginormous cruise boat.  But not the new one that apparently is so big that it has an amusement park on it.  I can't imagine something THAT big floating in any ocean.  But if it floats, it floats.  There's no arguing with gravity.  Unless you're singing Defying Gravity.

I love that song.  Probably my most favorite song from a musical.  Not that I'll ever sing it to audition.  That's one of those songs that apparently everyone does.  Then there are those songs that you can't sing because the people you're auditioning for will start comparing you to the one star that sang that song.  For instance, Somewhere Over the Rainbow is a song that I usually can't stand unless it's Julie Garland singing it.  Even when I was a child it never sounded right.

Speaking of songs not sounding right, I figured out how to fast forwards through songs.  Like, you can actually hear it fast forwarding.  So when I'm listening to a song, either you can barely tell what they are singing or not at all.  On windows media player, right click the fast forwards button and left click on the box that says, "Fast forward     ctrl + shift + F". I tested it out on some songs (including Defying Gravity which seemed very sacrilegious since it's such a serious song plus one of my ultimate faves right now).  Some of the best fast forwarded songs were Queen and Taylor Swift (so far).  If you are really feel like you need a laugh, fast forward through the suggestions below:

John Williams' StarWars theme
Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)
Life in Technicolor (Coldplay)
We Will Rock You (Queen)
We Are The Champions (Queen)
Bicycle Race (Queen)

Mine (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
Dear John (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
Never Grow Up (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
Haunted (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
Enchanted (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
Last Kiss (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
Long Live (Taylor Swift: Speak Now)
McCavity (From the musical Cats)
Yes (Cold play)
Tim McGraw (Taylor Swift)
A Place in This World (Taylor Swift)
Should've Said No (Taylor Swift)
Oh My My My (Taylor Swift)
Tear Drops on My Guitar (Taylor Swift)
Anything Goes (From the musical Anything Goes)
People (from the musical Funny Girl)

What I did for Love (A Chorus Line)
Sherry (Jersey Boys)

Last Night of the World (Miss Saigon)

Okay this list is so long.  I have to stop now.  Just listen to everything in fast forwards!  LOL this is so funny.  Superclifragilisticexpialidocious is funny in fast forwards.  The computer doesn't think that it's a word.  Tear :'(

The First Homeschool Drama Club!

Drama club went well today!  There were quite a few people I already knew, some brand new people of whom I had never seen before, and H along a couple others who were new to Drama Club but not to me (including one of her sisters).  Our usual Drama instructor person was there, but only to tell us that she isn't going to be teaching any more Drama to us and that Z-man is taking over from now on.  I hope that maybe I can help with games and become Game Girl.  I haven't said anything to him yet but I would really enjoy teaching these new people new games.  Like the two different versions of Dead Beaver that I know or Captain on Deck!  Which I believe that Z-man knows that game, but I know a different version.  But they're similar.

Anyways, I don't know if you have happened to look at Chalkboard Nails at all.  It's basically a blog all about nailpolish, but the person who paints nails has some real talent.  Right now she is doing this 31 day challenge.  She's painting nails according to a certain theme.  So, today's theme was purple so she painted her nails to look like the purple people eater.  SO CUTE!

Well, I hope you get to look at those nails because they really are creative.  Like, I'm going to have to get Muppet to try and paint my nails like that, lol!

Some more music

Grab a ticket in your hand; the ride will soon begin.  Try your best your very best, go round and round again!  That's how the Ferris Wheel song goes.  Annoying.  Absolutely, positively, completely annoying.  That was only part of the song.  The last line.  Before it goes into a whole bunch of vocal exercises or what ever you want to call them.  To me, they're annoying.  I don't know why.  It's just annoying and that's all I can say about this subject.

Music.  Like this music:

Anyways.  I don't know what to blog about.  Maybe it's because Muppet is gone in California now :'(  Although, if I were actually showing emotion right now, it would be more like X'O  Or maybe more like this:

Wow.  That was actually fun to draw.  Maybe I should do what my cat feels like now that Muppet has left for a while.
Oh my word, that's fun.  Well I have no other school today so maybe I'll hang out on paint.  Well, actually Cosmo would look like this:

That's enough for one day!

So This Is What Happened yesterday

I went to a teacher's meeting today for my homeschool group.  It's the first one since before summer started so it was exciting to see people again.  Although, certain Drama Club people were missing (gasp).  But that's not something to gasp at.  What's really to gasp at is Z-man's (most commonly known in drama club as game guy) new hair cut.  Originally his hair was down to his shoulders...or at least the last time I saw him it was.  But now it's at a normal guy's hair length.  Which, it hasn't been that short since I can't remember.  But Muppet also has a stunning new haircut and dye.  SO PRETTY!!!  It makes me wish I were blonde.  But the only blonde I ever have is my stupidity at times lol.  And the paint color in my room called blonde.

I also got the chance to see someone I have not gotten to see in years.  Literally.  I haven't seen her since 6th grade or something like that.  But we talked some at the beginning.  Ha ha!  And she still owns chickens.  My mother always wanted chickens when our deed restrictions went up but then they decided to say that you can't have farm animals unless their so-and-so yards away from the edge of your property yadda yadda.  Basically, if we wanted chickens, lambs, goats, cows etc., etc., etc. they would be living on our dining room table.  I doubt anyone would want a chicken staring at them while chowing down on KFC takeout.

So after I talked with her a while I felt obligated to meet and get to know Muppet's friend who, for safety precautions, will just go by H for the time being.  H kind of reminds me of the shyer version of Muppet.  She has plenty of siblings of whom I don't remember all their names.  But a couple of them came over to our little friend group (Muppet, H, and I) and drew random doodles in my doodle book.  H preceded to draw strange and cute creatures in my doodle book while I demonstrated what Cosmo Pluff from my new DS game looks like.  We mostly talked and listened to Francesca Battistelli, of whom H has both CD's of so we both knew what we were singing.

After the teacher's meeting ended we left H to go to our History co-op at the community college.  We discussed our history questions and answers after eating our lunch in the lunchroom there.  During this time my older sister went to her class and my brother read a random book.  So they were both preoccupied.

After history co-op we all went to Rita's to eat Italian ice.  Everyone except me seemed to have gotten mint chocolate chip, I choose lemonade because I felt very warm and sticky from the heat.  Also, lemons supposedly relieve stress.  Or at least smelling lemons does.

We went home and I finished up my history and TLP for the day and we went to Zumba...at Gold's Gym.  We have memberships now which is great because LA Fitness basically abducted all the fun out of Lifestyles.  Gold's Gym has a much warmer feel to it than Lifestyles does.  Maybe it has to do with the colors being so warm in there, but it just seems like a nicer, bigger, happier place than Lifestyles was when the LA Fitness stuff was taking over.  The instructor is pretty easy to follow and she has a great choice in music too.

Overall, yesterday was fun.  But now I'm a little sad because Muppet is going to California for a while.  But she'll be back soon enough.  In the meantime, next week is the first day of Drama Club.  So I'll be having fun with H that day.  But, unfortunately, I'm going to be quitting our homeschool group's Drama Club for a while because I'm already going to be using all of my leftover time to do the drama club at the community theater.  Plus, Drama Club isn't even going to be doing any performances of any sort for a while.  I'm not going to miss Muppet there because I'm already doing school with her plus we'll probably have a good share of opportunities to get together this year anyways.  I'll see the rest of Drama Club at the other teacher's meetings.  I'm sure I'll join it again eventually, but I don't have the time to do something so committing of my time right now.

My Best Friend is a Rainbow Kitty Cat

Now what I really wanted to blog about was my last post...er...the post before the Winnie the Pooh post.  Yeah, the crazy one.  I don't think you are really reading those long rambling posts.  So just to sum up that post for you (so you don't have to go through the trouble of reading that whole thing), it's impossible for me to combine my ideas into one single story.

You know how I can't ever finished any task I assign myself?  It shows in my blog because there are several past posts that I say, well I'm going to add this to my blog, and I'm going to this ___of the day, and I'll post pictures and stories and garbage from my computer so that the world will understand and...it doesn't really work.  The only sure thing about this blog is that I'll always post regularly unless I say otherwise.  But I remember back in the beginning of this blog, I was all like, "I'm going to blog everyday!" and then I couldn't.  Because I'm a busy girl.  In fact I probably should go and write a summery for my science experiment right now.  But I'm not going to because I read one chapter in the Scarlet Letter and answered the rest of my history questions this morning.

I want to post more music, but I can't get myself to go on YouTube.  I don't feel like searching for things online right now.

Look at that!  I lied.  I realized that I did have an urge to look something up.  It needed to happen.  Eventually.  Because this is such a cute song and now that I've seen the music video, I have to agree that it's adorable.  I blogged I while ago about this song and I wrote the chorus' lyrics because I loved the song so much.  It's called Don't Have Love by Holly Starr.  The whole thing is just adorable.  The tune, the lyrics, the music video; heck, even the song writer has an awesome name.  Not that I don't (tee hee).  But you'll never know my real name...except if you actually know me.  But this is getting off subject!  Well, then again, when does this blog ever stay on top of things.

Main point:  I love music and I had the courage to go on YouTube today so that I could find my (new) favorite song.  I can't just say this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE or something in bold, because I love so many good Christian music.  And I don't really care if people think I'm psycho because I don't listen to anything new besides whatever they have on Spirit FM.  People really aren't writing very good music anymore anywhere else.  I mean, some of the stuff on Christian Radio (in my opinion) is dragging a little more lately.  I mean, there is a lot this year that's good and catchy and like, but most recently, I haven't really been jumping when the radio says "New Release" or something.  But I have to say that, if I had an Ipod, I would purchase this song off of ITunes.  But I have a MP3 that has an almost full memory and I don't know how to take songs off of.  So I'm stuck with whatever junk I put on it three or four months ago.  But at least I think I know what I'm getting for Christmas this year.

I'm also sad that my speakers aren't working for some reason.  Stupid technology.  Everything looks the same: phones look like Ipods, Ipods look like Tablets, Tablets look like Ipads, Ipads look like miniature flat-screen HD TV's, HD TV's look like 3D TV's.  Soon our world will be paved in electronic, touch-screen, tiles.  I hope DS's don't turn into little dual screen tiles.  I think I would cry.  Not that we even own that sort of technology, nor do I care right now for it.  I wonder when they'll move from flat surfaces to round balls.  Then people will be kicking balls to call their friends and burn calories at the same time.  They already make ice cream machine kick balls so my idea isn't too far fetched.  Well maybe it is but anyways.

Oh and if you are interested in finding out more about Holly Starr (like I do) go here:  http://hollystarrmusic.com/about/

I love it when people use the gift of music to spread the word of God, it's so touching.  Not just Holly, but people like Jamie-Grace, Matt Maher, Matthew West, Stephen Curtis Chapman, and Francesca Battistelli, to name a few.  Speaking of Jamie-Grace, I still have an unsigned picture of her.  Maybe I'll get it signed by her one day.  I love day dreaming.  With imagination you can fly when you're grounded, travel the world while you remain in your bedroom, walk when you know you can't even stand...But sometimes imagination can be a terrible thing, you can see the worst that hasn't even happened yet, hurt yourself on words you don't mean, rest in a past of pain...The worst thing about imagination is also the best, sometimes you can't control your thoughts and sometimes you can.

Wow, I've said a lot.  I guess this is what happens when Muppet's not here for me to pester her with my strange ideas and theories or whatnot.  I'm going to go do something constructive.

This Week

I'm going to Muppet's house tomorrow.  So we can talk about things we never talked about during Drama Camp because there was no time to do so.  It's funny how often you can see a person and still not get to talk to them.

We're also planning on watching Hairspray (because Muppet has never seen it), Avatar (because I've never seen it), and Mario Karting and such.  Probably surf the internet.  You know, the usual things we do.  She'll paint my nails, I'll find a way to mess them up and then she'll have to fix 'em up again.  We'll bake something, cook dinner maybe, laugh at how ridiculous we are, laugh at the TV when it's being ridiculous, laugh at the clock because it's being ridiculous (Hey, it can't be 1:00 in the morning yet!).  You get the picture.  Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Vacation wasn't too overwhelmingly exciting.  The manatees decided to be shy, but one of them breathed on my feet.  I got yet another sunburn (I still don't have a tan), saw crabs popping into their holes one the beach, ate at a sea food restaurant, and watched the end of Time Line.  I only saw the end but it didn't look too interesting to me from what I saw of it.

Well, I'm going bowling now, so toodles!

It's over...:(

Last year if I had posted something, it would have said something like "It's over...:D" but for some reason, this year it was different.  The people were so beautiful (inside and out; but inside especially) and so generous.  The instructors told me that they wanted me to come back and audition.  Nobody has told me that before.  I don't think I got as many goodbyes last year as I did this year.  And now I'm pretty positive that that theater is where I belong for now.  That's the place for me to audition at.  I just know it's there.  This place is IT.  And the people, the people are so sweet.  I handed my folder around and practically everyone signed it.  There were lot's of hearts and smiley faces and the sweetest things said on it.  It just showed me that not only the instructors but also the kids want me to come back.  I'm just so flattered right now.  I'm going to keep that folder for a very long time.  But it reminds me of how many people out there do care about me when I'm down.

The performance was a blast and everything went well.  Everyone loved us old weeping ladies and we loved everyone back (lol even the "Evil Queen").  The Host tripped at one point but it really only added to the humor and it was a too obvious trip.  It was a hilarious performance and everyone enjoyed.  Now after all that hard work, I think it's time for some well deserved rest and a vacation but I promise I'll be back soon.  I'll try to blog Thursday or (if it's possible and depending on the time) Wednesday, but stay tuned for more lights, camera, action!

Oh and for those who are new to this blog, if you like my blog you may also enjoy Muppet's blog: The Whimsical Mind of Muppet the Mophead.  Just saying.  It's a pretty good blog too.  And for something more spiritual I suggest my sister's blog: Stitches and Scribbles.  Or my other sister's blog (If you're a foodie): Juniper's table.

That's all for now!  Curtain call and bow.

Huh?

I can't remember what I was blogging about last time that I wanted to continue today.  All I remember is that I was blabbering about music.  That's very much like me.  I haven't been myself this week much.  I've felt awful especially physically.  I've been sick, thanks to Muppet.  But I kind of wouldn't have changed the circumstances if I went back in time and did it again.  She needed me that day.  I could tell because of her mood.  She's not usually irritated with me for no reason.  But being sick, she wasn't in the mood to do things that I felt like doing.  It was all fine though because I found it nice to have a relaxing day watching Sherlock Holmes and Stranger Tides with her.

Besides being sick, I'm not feeling myself today for other personal reasons and because I can't sleep comfortably with a stuffed up nose.  I alter served a beautiful wedding for one of our many church friends.  And Mrs. Mo was at the wedding reception.  That lasted until four o' clock in the afternoon.  We came home I blogged, watched TV, emailed my friend, ate a lovely dinner, watched Dolphin Tale, and went to bed.  I still feel yucky today.  I'm going to my grandparent's house today anyways, though...

ADIOS AMIGOS!!!
