I'm writing again. I know what you're thinking. Yes, you're thinking something like "Oh, great! Another one! This girl spends to much time writing stories that go nowhere!" But do you know why I write so many unfinished documents? It's because I'm waiting for the PERFECT and ABSOLUTE idea. Even though there probably isn't the ultimate perfect book idea out there, but there are some that are pretty darn close.
What I've been wanting to write is a novel-ish thing that has powerful emotions through out it. I want to write a book with impact. I want people to pick it up and read it and learn from it. I want to write the kind of story that people can relate to a little. I want the problems to be realistic problems that people deal with all the time.
I keep writing silly stories. They have random spurts of emotion and usually the characters turn out going crazy or something. I want sane characters in my story. But I want lots of characters. The main character is social and active.
That is the perfect story. Life is a perfect story. And the amazing thing about life is that you can change it, sometimes. You can chose your friends and you can chose the people who are your enemies. You can choose what you say next, what you'll eat for dinner, where you'll go tomorrow. You can choose your reaction to events. You can yell, sing, cry, laugh, or sleep. You can make your own story.
You can make your own story to some extent. God is always there making us into who we are and planning our future. After all he is the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
ReplyDeleteAnyway...I also don't think life is a perfect story. I would not want to read about me. I'd be like omgosh this person is so boring! But that's just me....I like stories that are impossible. :)
But you go ahead and write your story cause I'll still read it :D
