Okay, so I know I don't post so much any more

But if you've been following my blog for a while and have been reading my oldest posts you can remember that one of my first posts said that I would try to blog lots unless life happened.  Well, life has happened.  I could tell you about Christmas if I wanted to and how it was delayed for a day because my grandfather went to the hospital for reasons but is getting better now despite everything, but I don't have to, now.  Do I?  Now you know.

My weeks have been mostly doing school, visiting the hospital, going to Drama Club, going the Youth Group, trying out my new Ipod, playing Skylanders, petting my cat, and emailing Muppet.  Of course, other things have happened this winter.  We had plenty of visitors this winter including some friends I haven't seen in many years.  Like since I was ten or something.  That was about five or six years ago.  Yes, I had my birthday in January and, lucky me, I got sick the next day.  Between December of last year and January of this year, things just keep happening on after another for me.

There's not a ton for me to say because once I start telling you stuff, I'll end up telling you every single unimportant detail.  Like, my toothpaste exploded Monday and exploded again three days later.  I wanted to take a picture of the tube itself because it looked so freakishly diseased that it was creepy.

Point proven.

So I've been tossing around ideas for getting a new blog for more specific things so I could have one neat and nice blog and this blog which looks like I threw sherbet at the screen and added a sprinkle of kitties.  I don't know if I'm allowed to get a new blog, though.  I don't want to end up with fifty-zillion blogs.  I've been mostly thinking about making a blog to post random writing I've done and only for my random writing.  Another idea I've been thinking about is collaborating with Muppet to make a nail blog.  I read her blog recently and I quote:

"I've had various thoughts about making a nail blog, or turning this into a nail blog, but then I realized I have a doll blog that I don't do anything on because my computer doesn't like uploading my own pictures to any sort of internet, and what's the point of anything if there's no pictures?"

I have a perfectly good camera (as does she) and computer.  Her computer has problems with uploading pictures onto her blog.  My computer doesn't have a problem with my camera's photos  So I wonder if her old pictures might work on my computer.  Just thinking.

I like the thought of collaborating on nails with her.  She constantly paints my nails and I think they deserve to be displayed somewhere else besides the middle drawer in my dresser of strangeness.  THEN I could solve her problem of trying to find a blog challenge to do: 31 day nail challenge!  I bet she could do it even if it took her longer than a month.  She WEEKLY paints her nails.  Well, speaking of nails, Muppet and I are getting real, professional manicures today.  I can't wait.  I'm bringing my camera to take pictures of our nails.

Until next time (which won't be three months this time)!

Good-bye Summer! Hello Summer Jr!

Aka, a very warm fall.  I can't believe it's already October again!  It seems like not that long ago I was dressed up as my sister's twin!  That was a fun Halloween.  But before I drift into talking about past costumes or how beautiful changing leaves are, let's reminisce about this Summer...What happened this Summer:

Tennessee Vacation!

Drama club:

Drama Camp (don't have a photo for this)

Confirmation:

Although, those are the big things that have happened this summer, there have also been smaller events that are none the less important.  Including that my beef jerky went bad last month (Ew!  I didn't know I was supposed to refrigerate it!) and my new discovered love for artists such as J.J. Heller and Barlow Girl.  I love music!

And Ice Cream:

Ice cream is just de-lick-sious!  Okay, that was a really lame joke.  Another highlight to my Summer was DOWNTON ABBEY!!!! Love that show.  *tear* I have to wait until next year to see the next season since it premiers in Britain first.  Which, obviously, I don't live there.

My reading hasn't been very productive this summer, unfortunately.  I've read The Help and I'm pretty far into Twilight but I can't read anymore for the time being since The Scarlet Letter is pleading for me to finish it.  Oh, I also read The Hiding Place.  If you've never read that book, I highly suggest it to you.

Now it's October!  I can't believe it!  I'm going to start tearing up now because it wasn't until the fall that Muppet and I really got to know each other.  That was last year!  It can't have only been a year!  I've known her forever, I swear!  Well, maybe not.  But it certainly seems that long.

October brings Halloween.  And Halloween brings costumes and candy.  I've been everything from a politician to a baby; from cats to bats to spiders to a skeleton to a twin.  I have no idea what it'll be this year.  I'm really not feeling like Halloween anymore.  Last year was when the childhood make-believe and holidays faded for me.  I feel like people lose the true meaning of these holidays.

For instance: Halloween is really about all those who have gone before us and died: saints, martyrs, and just the deceased in general.  It actually has roots to the church and wasn't about candy, dressing up and scaring people.

And Christmas isn't about presents: it's about the birth of Jesus.  People forget that and are just fed candy instead of the true meaning.  These other things that we think of when we think of holidays are just traditions that built up over time until it grew into a national tradition; no, a world wide tradition.

Not that presents and candy are a bad thing.  I love holidays because they bring people together.  I just feel like there needs to be more explanation to these special days really mean and how they came around.  I hope you've learned something today!

Here comes the Sun!

Ha ha!  That reminds me of this one sign I saw once!  It was sign for a church of some sort and it said:

"Weather forecast: God reigns, the Son shines"

So adorable.

So I saw Les Miserables last night.  We got the DVD from Netflix and watched half of it Thursday and the other half tonight.  It was spectacular!  Three words, Best Musical Ever!  The characters, cast, music... It was just awesome to watch it.

Blip Blip Blip Blip Blip Blip Blip Blip

Yeah, so I'm bored.  But I shouldn't feel bored.

I'm trying to finish reading The Help and label my blog posts.  I'm sure you've noticed that.  If you haven't, it's not that important of information.

I've also been writing, but you knew that.  Oh!  Today is May the fourth be with you!  We were planning on watching the third Star Wars movie...but our plans changed.  Yes, I still have not seen the third Star Wars movie.  I was too young to watch it the last time we tried to watch it together.  I think I could have handled it but I was just tired of my mom covering my eyes for half of it.  I want to watch the Dick Van Dyke Show.  Or Fractured Fairy tales.  But those are the shows that nobody else in my family likes except for my mother and me.

I feel like posting something funny I wrote.  It's from the story Diamond Gems that I was writing:

“Hey there, grizzly bear!” said the voice of a boy.  Both girls jumped, not expecting his intrusion.
“Harvey!  Don’t sneak up on me like that!” Diamond said, her face turning red.
“Jeez, sorry!” he said, “I just came to say hello to my favorite gem.” He puckered his lips for a quick kiss.  Diamond pushed his face away from hers.
“I don’t think so mister!  You know the rules at Youth Group.  No purpling.”
“Goodness.  Do you have to follow all of the rules?  Why not color outside the lines?”
“Maybe if the crayon was only pink; but my crayon isn’t going anywhere near your crayon and we both know that.”
“Okay, alright! I get it!  You don’t have to be so graphic about it!”

LOL.  Isn't it funny?  Okay, it probably isn't that funny...But I thought it was hilarious.

So I get to see Muppet tomorrow.  We're going to have a sleepover party thing and then in the morning I'm going to her church.  I guess she wanted to get back at me for when I brought her to my church.  But I probably posted that before.

But she's going to paint my nails like butterflies and cupcakes.  So I'll have to bring my camera to take pictures of them.  I don't think I've posted any pictures of my nails.  You probably are curious about how some of my nails turned out.  I can't show you all of them now because some photos are still on my camera but I can show you some of them.
Let's see...

 Black and white stripes
Rainbow
Black.  Notice that my toes are the same color and pattern.
Red and black french manicure thing
Red and black french manicure with white stripes
Awesome blue toes.  I think it's actually two different blues on top of each other
Rainbow nails with black french manicure and rainbow toes with various intersecting stripes.  I ruined my right big toe's nail polish in this picture.  All of it was done by my friend Muppet's steady hand.  I had cute little presents for nails and a holly berry for Christmas on my nails.  I kept ruining my nails that night because we were watching the Nutcracker Prince that night and I kept falling asleep during that movie.

I'm going to Bodyflow with my family tonight.  YES!  My sister from college is HOME.  After that, I'm going to go spend some time at adoration.  Because you can't adore God enough, you know!  It's nice.  It's quiet and you can reflect on the past, your day, your family, your friends, you enemies.  It's kind of like meditating except the Lord is right there on the alter listening to your prayers.  Not that he isn't there any other time.  Because God is always listening.  I love Jeremiah 29:11-13.  Look it up for yourself.  Such inspiring words.
Have a Sunny day!

Poetry at its Best and Craziness at its Worst

I'm kidding about the at it's best part and mostly all of the poems I write, I have tune in my head or an idea for a song.  But I can't really sing my poems to you because it always sounds different from how it sounds in my head.  I just wanted to write a song/poem-ish thing so I did.

See my hands
They’re shaking
See my heart
It’s breaking

I try to hold on
But then you’re gone

Where are you
What do I do
When the sky above
Is crashing through

Are you really there
When nobody cares
You hear my prayers
And my heart that tears

Hold me in your arms
Keep me safe from all who harm me
Hold me in your arms
When I fear that you have gone from me

And when the day keeps dragging on
And when the world is going wrong
And I ache for that new dawn
Just hold me
Lord you hold me

See my face
It’s crestfallen
Hear my voice
It tries calling

I try to listen
But you’re missing

Where are you
What do I do
When I’m feeling
Oh so blue

Are you really here
To listen to my fears
As you draw me near
And wipe away my tears

Hold me in your arms
Help me see the love around me
Hold me in your arms
Help me feel a little more free

The world is filled with sunshine
But I just see the moon
Gently hold your hand in mind
I know the sun will come out soon

But for now
Just hold me

See?  It looks like a song right?  Or sort of.  It's probably not actually as good as you were expecting.  But I like to rhyme things.  I don't know, but I think it's better than the Black Cat song I was trying to write in my head.  Especially since I forgot most of it once I thought of this but I'm certain if I sit down and think long enough, I could come up with something just as good.

So I have a lot to blog about.  But too much for one post.

Okay, so my brother quit gymnastics yesterday and he's joining Drama Club.  It's really exciting news for Muppet but most of his friends at gymnastics didn't even see it coming.  They were very surprised that he would quit after so many years.  But he's not into his work as much as he used to.  I grew out of gymnastics around his very same age.  I quit two years ago because I was bored of homeschool gymnastics and I didn't feel like I was excelling much at all in it since I hate doing anything that requires me to be upside-down and I was also sick of the headaches that I got from tumbling.  But my brother was different; or more like his reasons were different.  He just was tired of always being busy and never being able to see his family.

Another thing that's happening is that my family is planning on a vacation this summer in which we get to drive up north to see some friends that we haven't seen since January.  I can't wait!

So I thought that wouldn't fit in a blog post, but it did.  Oh well.

Oh, so I remember back in the beginning of this blog I was all like "I'm going to call my sister at college Fluff!"  but I never did.  Because I don't like fluff.  Like the kind that floats in the air and lands in your mouth and you try ripping your tongue out just so that you can pull a tiny piece of fluff out.  And then people look at you funny and say something like "Are you all right?" as if you really did pull your tongue out.  Then you blame the cat for making you look stupid in front of everyone.  But I don't hate my sister because that would be mean and not to mention a lie.  An obvious lie since when she comes home and then a week later has to leave again I'm shouting "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COME BACK!!! I NEEEEEED YOU!"  Well, not really that much, but come on!  I'm an actress!  I need to be dramatic especially since it's been like a month since I've had lines to spit out.  Now I'm sitting here relieving myself from the stress of sitting here doing nothing but writing that I'm sitting here relieving myself from my stress while sitting here and stress and sitting and sitting on stress and poems and sitting and nothing and sitting on stress and doing nothing and...

AHHHHHHHH!  My train fell into my waffles and drowned in a tree called Blarney were the lagoon consumed the tissue paper making a Jack a lantern out of the pit in my stomach and calling for the fish that shouts out "taboo taboo" and Lady Ga Ga appears shouting "achoo achoo" and a giant ant farm explodes and Phineas and Ferb eat Perry the Platypus with chips and icecream in a classic dragster from Mario Kart Wii and then the rooster crows nine times signaling that Peter was supposed to eat his mashed potatoes earlier than six o clock in the morning of Christmas day 2143 when a colossal sock monkey named Stuff appeared and went up the hill and came down with all the bananas where Snow white and the seven giants went on a mission to capture a fortune teller by the name of Ray and make him eat all the sandpaper.  The end.

Now I must go do something besides blog before something worse pops into my mind.  And yes I know the font is purple.  I wanted it that way.

30 Minute Blog

Yes, I only have thirty minutes to blog.  Let's see how far I can get before time's up.

I know I was not blogging yesterday but there are three thousand reasons why I didn't.

One being that Muppet's grandmother hasn't been feeling well lately and had to go to the hospital and stuff so I didn't feel like blogging yesterday.  But there was also Drama club yesterday.  I saw all my drama friends.  Except for Muppet...  She was sleeping because she stayed up so late.  She'll probably blog about that sort of thing but this is MY blog.  That is, Cosmo the Pluffkin's blog.  And Cosmo the Pluffkin is me so that makes this MY blog.

I've been up to stuff lately.  Like writing parodies of songs.

Here's an old one:

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer (reindeer)
Had a very bloody nose (YUCK!)
And if you ever saw it (saw it)
You may even say it’s gross (It’s gross)
All of the other reindeer (reindeer)
Used to laugh and call him names (like radicchio)
They never let gory Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games (like operation)
Then one bloody Christmas eve
Santa came to slay (Oh-no!)
Rudolph with his nose that bled
Now Rudolph is finally dead (Yay!)
Oh how the reindeer loved it (Loved it!)
Now they’re shouting out with glee (yippee)
Rudolph the bloody nosed reindeer (reindeer)
Has gone down in misery! (The end)

That one obviously was not Taylor Swift but this one deffinately is:

Mine
You were a zombie working part-time eating faces
Left a carcass, and never ate its back.
I was a vampire with a fear of flying
Wondering why we bother with blood if it never lasts.
But I loved you to pieces
Almost literally
But you have rotten blood
So, so I can’t eat you now

Chorus:
Do you remember how it felt sitting by the lava?
You put your arm around me
But it fell off
You fell in love with Dracula’s Evil daughter
You’re the best undead that’s ever been mine.
Flash forward and we’re taking on werewolves together.
Of course it's not finished yet but that's what I've got so far.

Oh look!  a husky!

COOKIES!

Yes this again.  I know what you're thinking, "What in the universe is this person up to?"
The answer is nothing.  The songs above probably scared you a little (admit it!) an maybe made you think that I don't like reindeer or Taylor Swift.  That would be a lie!  My mind will randomly make parodies of songs.  I don't know why but they always are creepy or sound like I'm making fun of something when in truth I'm just being bored.

I like Taylor Swift.  She's pretty cool.  I don't like Lady Ga Ga.  She scares me.  See, I write creepy lyrics but I don't look creepy.  I saw a Taylor Swift documentary once.  It mentioned Lady Ga Ga once in it a for less than two seconds and I think she scared me out of my skin.  I was like, "What on earth is that lady wearing? A dead bird?" No, an angry bird.

Oh-no! Angry birds!  Personally I don't think there should be so much merchandise at stores for an app.  An app for goodness sake!  If somebody can have a million fans because of an app I should have a billion fans on my blog.

Yogurt: Stop complaining you must!

Oh no!  It's judo master yogurt!

Yogurt: More you get fans by less complaining.

I eat yogurt for breakfast!  MWA HA HA HA!

Yogurt: get no where you will if eat Yogurt you do.  Now put down me you must.

Grr.

Oh Down.  that's a good song by Mat Kearney.

I used to think his name was spelled Curney but apparently people pronounce wrong.  Or maybe I do and I'm just rambling now.

Yogurt: Rambling you are!  Stop rambling you must!  instead judo must you learn!

What? Tai-chi, yoga and palates isn't enough?

Yogurt: Make me call my brother you want?

Yoga:  Into downward dog must you be!

What is this nonsence!

Yoga: calm your mind you must.  Into relaxation you go!

Save me!

Oh look my time is up.  Thank goodness
