Well apparently it's that time of year again. Time for remembering those innocent lives lost. Although, I was very young then an hardly remember that day. My family doesn't really travel that much either. Then or now. I don't remember ever feeling sad on that day or anything. I just remember being at PE and that's about it. I wish I could remember and tell you what it was like, but alas I cannot.
But I just wanted to post a little something in honor of the people who suffered that day. And for those who did lose someone, I'm sure they have a special spot in heaven. :) Just remember that. And remember that you'll see them again someday and live all eternity with them.
Sometimes I don't think about how short my life on earth is compared to the eternity of infinity. It's like a speck on a sheet of paper how small life is. When I think about this, it makes me think about how I should be acting each day. To know that every little thing I do will be accounted for.
I'm sorry if I'm being to serious, but I do have my deep moments in life too. Especially on days like this.

It's Like That Lockhorns Comic I Saw Not That Long Ago
It was the two Lockhorns with their car getting it fixed and one of them comments, "If we buy any more car parts, we'll technically have a new car!" That's how I'm feeling about our car lately. Granted we've had it for years and years since the car's year is 2003. That would make it nine years old, give or take a few years. I don't understand cars, nor do I want to really. Except I sort of do because then I could fix my car myself, except I don't want to have to fix my own car. Nor do I own a car, but none of that matters. The point is that our car broke down. Again. Fortunately we still have our little red dwarf car, as I call it.
Here's the story, we were on our way to our grandparent's house (under the river and over the woods to grandmother's house we go, just kidding) and our car broke down. Something about transmission fluid exploding all over the car so that would explain why the car didn't want to go anymore. Of course we called a tow truck and what not, but we're sitting there on the side of the road sweating to death in our car. Fortunately I brought my DS to pass the time and distract myself from feeling gross. My mom is thinking of possible people she could call to get us to our grandparent's house for lunch like we promised (well, of course we called our grandparents and begged them to please, pleASE, PLEASE, not put the pasta in to boil yet, lol). She got the idea to call an old friend of hers from highschool (or something like that) who lived in the area and who had room for four people (my older sister, my brother, me and herself) in their car (and weren't busy that day). So she said yes she could come and rescue us. What I didn't know was that they brought two cars with them because their son and daughter wanted to meet us (which was pretty cool). Her husband also came along (well, someone had to drive the second car lol).
So we all (except my father who had to stay with the car to get it towed) went to my grandparent's house and everyone ate spaghetti. My mom's friend stayed late enough to drink coffee before she and her family left. But in the time they were there, I doodled some pretty dresses which at some point in time I'll show my blog fanatics. I showed my doodles off to my mom's friend's daughter (whoa, if she's going to pop up in the story anymore I need to give her a blog name) and anyone else interested in my dress drawings. I really should show you my drawings sometime. I'll take pictures of them for the future.
Maybe after I finish with my nail blog posts, I'll start blogging my dresses for you all to see. I promise you'll like at least one of them (except if you're a guy, you might not be interested). But the bottom line of this post is that our car isn't working and I met some cool new people. And we ate spaghetti lol. And ice cream. But that was later on after people left. When we got home we watched the next new Doctor Who episode. I still laugh when I think of the line, "Dinosaurs...On a space ship!"
Well today, I'm going to be busy at my Youth Group's kickoff and since I'm part of the Youth Ministry Team my job is to make people feel welcome. I just hope people will show up.

Labor Day Weekend
I finished Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. The ending was sad, but I won't spoil it for you unless you ask me to. I'm just going to say that after you finish the game you are exactly where you were before you go into the final level and you can travel to the other worlds and replay the levels you didn't complete and color the villages that you paint. So, I'm going to continue playing it.
But that's not what I was going to talk about.
It's Labor day weekend so my grandparents are coming over to our house to celebrate and my dad will be making awesome chicken and my older sister made these handheld pies. Which sounds funny. Handheld pies...hmm sounds like a video game console or something. Well, maybe personal pies will sound better...eh...But they aren't personal pies because they look like this:
Except the pies look more delicious in person. Except that sounds funny too. UGH! Everything I'm saying today sounds weird today. Oh well. Now I'm drinking orange soda because Daddy needs cans to make his beer can chicken. Except we're using soda cans because that's what we have lol. But anyways, off the subject of food.
Sometimes I wonder why they call it Labor Day and everyone gets the day off. They should come up with a different name because Labor Day implies that it's a day of labor or work. But I'm not saying people should work on Labor Day, I'm just saying that there needs to be a different name for it. Like maybe National Day of Rest or something.
I have a daisy set as my background on my computer. It's a pretty good photo. I don't usually take very good pictures but some days I'll get a perfect picture that looks like it could be on a post card. Let's see if I can find the daisy for you:
Isn't it pretty? If you look closely you can tell that the ground isn't flat like where I live. This one was taken in Tennessee. But the foliage is pretty too.
Until tomorrow!
But that's not what I was going to talk about.

Poetry at its Best and Craziness at its Worst
I'm kidding about the at it's best part and mostly all of the poems I write, I have tune in my head or an idea for a song. But I can't really sing my poems to you because it always sounds different from how it sounds in my head. I just wanted to write a song/poem-ish thing so I did.
See my hands
They’re shaking
See my heart
It’s breaking
I try to hold on
But then you’re gone
Where are you
What do I do
When the sky above
Is crashing through
Are you really there
When nobody cares
You hear my prayers
And my heart that tears
Hold me in your arms
Keep me safe from all who harm me
Hold me in your arms
When I fear that you have gone from me
And when the day keeps dragging on
And when the world is going wrong
And I ache for that new dawn
Just hold me
Lord you hold me
See my face
It’s crestfallen
Hear my voice
It tries calling
I try to listen
But you’re missing
Where are you
What do I do
When I’m feeling
Oh so blue
Are you really here
To listen to my fears
As you draw me near
And wipe away my tears
Hold me in your arms
Help me see the love around me
Hold me in your arms
Help me feel a little more free
The world is filled with sunshine
But I just see the moon
Gently hold your hand in mind
I know the sun will come out soon
But for now
Just hold me
See? It looks like a song right? Or sort of. It's probably not actually as good as you were expecting. But I like to rhyme things. I don't know, but I think it's better than the Black Cat song I was trying to write in my head. Especially since I forgot most of it once I thought of this but I'm certain if I sit down and think long enough, I could come up with something just as good.
So I have a lot to blog about. But too much for one post.
Okay, so my brother quit gymnastics yesterday and he's joining Drama Club. It's really exciting news for Muppet but most of his friends at gymnastics didn't even see it coming. They were very surprised that he would quit after so many years. But he's not into his work as much as he used to. I grew out of gymnastics around his very same age. I quit two years ago because I was bored of homeschool gymnastics and I didn't feel like I was excelling much at all in it since I hate doing anything that requires me to be upside-down and I was also sick of the headaches that I got from tumbling. But my brother was different; or more like his reasons were different. He just was tired of always being busy and never being able to see his family.
Another thing that's happening is that my family is planning on a vacation this summer in which we get to drive up north to see some friends that we haven't seen since January. I can't wait!
So I thought that wouldn't fit in a blog post, but it did. Oh well.
Oh, so I remember back in the beginning of this blog I was all like "I'm going to call my sister at college Fluff!" but I never did. Because I don't like fluff. Like the kind that floats in the air and lands in your mouth and you try ripping your tongue out just so that you can pull a tiny piece of fluff out. And then people look at you funny and say something like "Are you all right?" as if you really did pull your tongue out. Then you blame the cat for making you look stupid in front of everyone. But I don't hate my sister because that would be mean and not to mention a lie. An obvious lie since when she comes home and then a week later has to leave again I'm shouting "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COME BACK!!! I NEEEEEED YOU!" Well, not really that much, but come on! I'm an actress! I need to be dramatic especially since it's been like a month since I've had lines to spit out. Now I'm sitting here relieving myself from the stress of sitting here doing nothing but writing that I'm sitting here relieving myself from my stress while sitting here and stress and sitting and sitting on stress and poems and sitting and nothing and sitting on stress and doing nothing and...
AHHHHHHHH! My train fell into my waffles and drowned in a tree called Blarney were the lagoon consumed the tissue paper making a Jack a lantern out of the pit in my stomach and calling for the fish that shouts out "taboo taboo" and Lady Ga Ga appears shouting "achoo achoo" and a giant ant farm explodes and Phineas and Ferb eat Perry the Platypus with chips and icecream in a classic dragster from Mario Kart Wii and then the rooster crows nine times signaling that Peter was supposed to eat his mashed potatoes earlier than six o clock in the morning of Christmas day 2143 when a colossal sock monkey named Stuff appeared and went up the hill and came down with all the bananas where Snow white and the seven giants went on a mission to capture a fortune teller by the name of Ray and make him eat all the sandpaper. The end.
Now I must go do something besides blog before something worse pops into my mind. And yes I know the font is purple. I wanted it that way.

Rolling in the Deee-eee-eeep and Video Game Images
So I finished my school for today (or what I can do of it right now since my sister has the book that I'm supposed to read a Ronald Reagan speech from).
I kept checked my email today and then realized that I wouldn't have anything new since Muppet is at some Drama Meeting that only a few of us drama people are going to (excluding me). Muppet, her mother, her friend, Al, and our director were the only people at the meeting. Apparently their talking about this summer's musical.
I feel like listening to good music now... Ah, Matt Maher! That's good music! Or at least to me. Jesusfreakhidout.com isn't very fond of him. Hence the fact that they only show two of his CD's. My family owns three of them. It shows Empty and Beautiful and Alive Again but it's missing his newest CD. It also does not show the newest Francesca Battistelli CD or anything from Mike's Chair. But they have the lyrics for Jamie-Grace's EP on their website. Seriously? And you don't have the newest Francesca CD?
Anyways.
I'm trying to animate a cat as shown below in these two pictures:
and yes I know that Mario is in the picture here. He was mainly there for sizing the cat correctly. As you can see, I have set pictures for the cat walking, moving its head, sitting, and jumping. I feel like I could make a video game with these images. I've tried making video-game-like images before as shown below in these Blob Adventure games:
These I never attempted animating because I don't really have a real way to animate image beyond scrolling through images on Microsoft PowerPoint which is what I've been using for the cat. But it's still cool.
One day I'll make a videogame and I'll be famous and...Yeah, that will happen. Just like it'll happen that I'll have 1,000 followers on this blog and lets not even mention numbers of Facebook friends or friends in general. Oh well, I'm pretty happy sitting here creating junk on Paint that only I look at ever. But I think that the junk is pretty. Look a lady with a cat! That one's old. I don't think I've drawn something like that in years!
Look! They even have different hair and the cats have different fur colors!
So now you know what I've been up to, I'm going to go do something fun for a while...

October Baby, Baby Showers, and Big Black Boots
I wanted to put Broken and Beautiful on my blog but I can't find the version of the song that I want.
So I can't seem to put music from my computer on here either so you are stuck without that song and you are stuck with only lyrics and the option that YOU NEED TO LOOK UP BROKEN AND BEAUTIFUL! No, I am not shouting or demanding it be done. I'm using caps lock and encouraging you to listen to it. Mark Schultz is an amazing and inspiring song writer. He has the most amazing voice too.
There’s a businessman
There’s a widowed wife
There’s a smiling face with a shattered life
There’s a teenage girl with a choice tomake
It’s crowded here in church today
And the preacher says as the sermon ends
Please close your eyes and bow your heads
Is there anyone in need of prayer
Jesus wants to meet you here
‘cause we all fall short
We all have sinned
But when you let
God’s Grace break in…
(Chorus)
It’s beautiful
Beautiful
Come as you are
Surrender your heart
Broken and beautiful
Well he’d never been to church before
But he came today as a last resort
His world was crashing in
And he was suffocating in his sin
But tears ran down
As hope rushed in
He closed his eyes
Raised his hands
Worshiping the God who can
Bring him back to life again
(Chorus)
Cause there’s nothing more beautiful to God
Than when his sons and daughters come
Broken
Alleluia
Alleluia
Come as you are
Alleluia
Alleluia
Come as you are
(Chorus)
Alleluia
Alleluia
Come as you are
(Come as you are)
Surrender your heart
Broken and beautiful
Alleluia
Alleluia
Come as you are
(Come as you are)
Surrender your heart
Broken and beautiful
Okay so that was off subject. My cousin is going to have a baby so of course, I got invited to her baby shower as well as my sister who's not at college and my mom since we're her family. It was nice because I got to see my cousin's sister (who of course is my cousin as well) and their mom.
Later we saw October Baby at the Cobb theater. Let me tell you, that movie is worth seeing in a big expensive theater. It's inspiring. I won't spoil too much; not more than what they say on Joy FM about it. It's about this girl who collapses on stage and finds out the truth about herself. The truth isn't always easy though. She goes on a trip to find out the truth and the whole truth about who she is.
I almost cried during that movie. But I didn't. I teared up. Which shows how emotional it was to me. It is definitely a must-see.
Sorry, I'm getting distracted by the Mark Schultz CD I put on. He's a really good artist. Just saying. I love people who write stories within their songs. He might pop up on my blog more. I think I put the lyrics to one of his songs in an older post.
Okay, so after the movie, my sister, mom and I went to Kohl's and I bought two new pairs of shoes. Or should I say, one pair of awesome shoes and a pair of BIG BLACK BOOTS!!! My first pair! I'm so happy.
I'm going to go on Facebook since it's Sunday so I get to break my fast from not doing Facebook. Easter is next week which makes me excited because it has been sad not being able to post on my friend's wall.

I Finally Have Six Followers!!! :)
So my cousin is now following my blog which makes me very happy. It makes me feel like maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to achieve having 20 followers. Well, one of my sisters is sort of following my blog...she just hasn't clicked the follow button. Mostly because she doesn't have a blog or Google account to do so.
I'm tired out from so much Drama Club today. It's exhausting to remember lines when the others don't know the rest of their lines. Notice I didn't say ALL of the others. Muppet is rockin' her lines out! And Al, he's just AMAZINGLY funny when he's doing the script called Social Stagnation. A lot of the others are doing just as good as I am (I lose my train of thought sometimes).
"Remember, it's not just a board game; it's a two-dimensional, recreational pastime! (grins and gives a thumbs up)"
One of them JUST memorized her lines today. It makes it really hard for me to do my lines when she won't let me say them and says a line that's two lines ahead of where it's supposed to be. I have this one flaw in me when it comes to memorizing lines. That's that when someone says a line out of context, my mind can't wrap around what's been said to the line that comes after that one line. Besides that, I think I'm excellent with memorizing lines.
I've had Adele stuck in my head so long, I fear that if I don't listen to something soon, she's going to suck the brains out of my head! LOL that sounded funny!
I can't wait for Saturday! I get to go to my cousin's baby shower!
But before that is Friday, which I'll be able to be in this one dance scene for the Ruth film. I get to see Muppet THREE times this week.
I want something interesting to blog about, but I can't think of anything! Well, wait...On Monday I had a Confirmation meeting and NO ONE would talk to me. I hate that feeling of being rejected....Being cast away...that no one will hear you....I want to be known. I want people to talk to me. My church needs to work on engaging people. When I'm not in my homeschool group or at home with my family, there are only a couple of people who even care to welcome me with a smile or to say "hi" to. Everybody at Youth Group has their own little clicks; their own friends. They don't talk to me. Even the ones that I've know since 6th grade don't say a word to me.
At Drama Club every other person smiles at you and jokes with you as you meet them. We're even warm and friendly to the new people that nobody knows. At Drama Club we include everybody. At Youth Group, it leaves me feeling secluded. When I think of Drama Club, I think of rainbows, butterflies, and Nyan Cat (LOL). When I think of Youth Group, I think of newspapers, Bibles, and the color gray.
My heart feels gray
My mind wants to play
But lock just lock it up
Youth Group's as inviting
As vampires biting
And faces that won't say 'sup.
My heart feels like gold
I don't feel to old
for Drama club's fun
Drama's as inviting
as my first sighting
of the warm melting sun
I love it when I'm poetic like that. Not that it's probably a good poem...But, you know! I have to rhyme sometimes!
